Testimonials

"Thanks for a great day.  My group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Some, especially the girls were a little apprehensive at first but there was no holding them back after a while. It was just want we needed to finish off a hectic work year" - Karen

"What a buzz. I especially enjoyed the Fortress. My group started off inside the fort. There were 12 of us and we held out the other team who had to get 6 flags placed around the fort back to their base. I sat in front of one of the port holes and covered 2 flags. There was no way they were going to get to them. I held them out for about 10 minutes I reckon. Can’t wait to play again" - Grant

Frequently Asked Questions

How many paintballs will I need?

This varies from player to player and is very dependant on your style of play. We find that our recreational players use on average 400 paintballs per session. Having said this, some players will only use the initial 200 paintballs included in the players fee while others shoot through over 1000 paint balls in a session. To avoid disappointment we recommend you bank on buying another 200 paintballs. Better still, bring your credit card and let loose!!.

What should I wear and bring to the game?

You are going to be running around the bush. You will get dirty! So wear old clothes and trainers or walking boots. Adrenalin suggests that you wear long pants and a long sleeved shirt under the camouflage overalls that we issue to you. Here's a checklist of what to bring along:
clothes and shoes as described abovesmall personal sweat towelsunscreen & insect repellentwatercash or credit cardDo I need to book?
You definitely need to book. By doing so well in advance and paying the requisite deposit, you will avoid the disappointment of securing a place on the day you wish to play. We will always try and accommodate you. So if your decision to play Paintball is on the spur of the moment, call Adrenalin and if places are available we'll get you on the field. Do I need to bring a large group or can I just bring a couple of friends?

The more the merrier! There's nothing like a big game with many players. Having said this, we'll make sure you have fun irrespective of how may friends you rustle up. The games we play for 10-15 players are typically different than what we'd play for a group of 40-50; we style the games to suit the size and type of group. If you are less popular than you thought and can only find a few mates, or if you're on your "pat malone" call us at Adrenalin and we'll combine you with another group.

How much deposit do I need to pay?

A minimum of $10 per player is required by close of business on the Thursday prior to your booking. For example, if you want to secure a booking for 10 players, you need to pay a deposit of $100. Please note, we set aside a set of equipment for each $10 deposit paid. If you pay a $100 deposit (10 players) and 15 players show up, we cannot guarantee that we'll have equipment available for the 5 extra players. So it's important that you put down a deposit for the total number of players you expect. To learn how you can make a booking contact us.

Does it hurt?

The paint pellets break open upon impact, and generally cause very little pain. What pain is experienced is more of a stinging sensation from the pellet's impact. In our experience, the stinging pain goes away after a few seconds. Of course, the closer you are to the muzzle of the marker, the higher the velocity of the pellet when it hits you. Thus, more pain may be experienced when shot at close range rather than farther away. In general, one can count on coming off the field with a few welts from paintball impacts, but your most annoying injuries are more likely to be scrapes and bruises from the local terrain.

Can I get the paint out of my clothes?

Paint is water soluble and should wash out as normal.

Is it safe?

Like many sports (football, basket ball, etc.) paint ball has it?s risks. unless adequate protection is worn and safety rules understood and followed. All paintball players must wear the protective equipment issued which includes full facemask, back & front chest protector, neck protector, gloves and overalls.

Do I need to be physically fit to play?

Not really, but it will help. As with all strenuous exercise participants should stretch and warm up before playing. Since typical games require quick sprints followed by a rest having good an-aerobic fitness is beneficial. Players should gauge their play to their level of fitness. All players in poor physical condition or with physically limiting conditions should consult a physician before playing.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

Only paintballs sold on site may be used on that game day. In this way we can ensure that they not only meet all insurance and health and safety standards but are also fully biodegradable. So for safety reasons any players bringing their own paintballs onto site will be immediately ejected from the site - No refunds will be given in these circumstances.

Is there a minimum age for paintball?

The absolute minimum legal age for paintball in Queensland is 15 years. Age limits are not flexible as they are set by the Queensland Police Service and Insurance Regulators. Players under eighteen are required to complete a parental consent form to go paintballing at Adrenalin.
